What the bill would provide

Submit a removal request

A covered individual or authorized person could identify qualifying content and request removal through the platform’s process.

Receive removal within 48 hours

A platform receiving a valid request would have to remove the specified content within 48 hours.

Removal of identical copies

The platform would have to make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies.

Protection beyond intimate images

The process would extend to defined cyberstalking content and broader intimate-privacy violations meeting the proposal’s standards.
